Photo Glitch and JIRA

Ok, you know I've been having trouble for months due to a snapshot glitch. I despaired of ever getting it fixed and tried several work arounds that didn't pan out. Now I have the answer thanks ever so much to Elysium Eilde, who I love love love.

Apparently, if you're as lazy as I am, and always leave your Show Color Under Cursor on THAT is what causes that weird glitch. The answer is TURN IT OFF for photos LOL Such a massive annoying problem and such an easy fix. And here is the JIRA to vote to fix this stupid bug. Please please vote this.

Pillars of Beauty

Still having snapshot glitches, so we're short on pictures.

Pillars of Beauty is a gorgeous new release with 40 poses, including 10 specifically for men. Creeping roses really set off the prop and I think it's absolutely perfect for night time romantic pics...Realistically textured ruins and a sandy floor give the impression that you've stumbled upon an old temple once erected to worship some ocean or sun goddess...

I really love those roses...

Yet another awesome new release. When I first rez a new prop I'm just flabbergasted. I know we get used to a designer and expect the same quality so it gets kind of ho hum after awhile. That is not really a problem I have with Mykala. I am always amazed by the quality of her textures and the level of detail she achieves. As usual pictures speak louder than words and so...






I know some of you wait for the blog pictures to buy and I'm sooo sorry I'm so late on them. I could not get ANY pictures yesterday and barely got these today. I'm getting some weird glitch I haven't been able to figure out yet.

Mykala's introduction of Elements got me really excited about where her inspirations would take us. Dryad-Magnificent Sentinal is definitely inspired, IMO, and shows us just what kind of promise awaits in her exploration of the Elements. As Mykala said, this isn't just a prop, it's art.



And while I hate to ruin the effect with technicalities, it IS my job LOL

Dangling Dollie

Boy you didn't think she'd squeeze out yet a third awesome new release, didja? Marionette seems to be so simply done, but it's pretty amazing. 20 poses and a ball to hold the strings you'll need to hang from. I swear, the strings make me feel like a cat. Just as I decide to make another picture I change poses and am fascinated by watching the strings shift. How she does that is beyond me. I could probably watch that over and over for an hour. I don't have a neat outfit like Mykala's, so I went with the Dead Dollie look...

Mykala's Secret Garden

Mykala has issued an invitation to her Secret Garden and we'd be crazy not to take her up on it! This prop is perfect for classic pictures in the garden, fairies, and elves. It has 20 poses and her usual amazing detail. I particularly LOVE the roses. I don't see roses that well done usually in SL. This prop is a perfect example of why I admire Mykala's work so much..

The Circus has come to town!

Virtual Memories Props & Poses has brought the circus to town! Psycho Circus has 30 poses and the ability to pose 3 avatars, bringing the big to the Big Top!
You can pose on the Ring, the Balls, or the Chair and there's 10 poses for each of them. This is a fun prop.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Librarians are sexy too

Mykala's done so many props it's very easy to miss one...or six. So today I'm highlighting two long released props that are not to miss.

I'm always partial to book related props since I'm a HUGE reader. How huge? I own probably 5500 books now...I know it's over 5k since the last inventory I did. LOL So these are some I bought forever ago and I love these.

This is the Naughty Librarian. 14 prims and 20 poses of sexiness proving that librarians can be sexy too. Even bookworms like some naughtiness between the stacks...

There are two new releases today! Whooot! One is a group gift, so double WHOOOT! This will be a picture heavy post...so get ready!

The other release is huge! Both in size (small house sized, 138 prims) and in poses (30!). The Ruck-A-Pit Bridge prop is gorgeous and well detailed. I was inspired toward fall photos but it's also great for fairy photos. It also includes some great lighting, for those night photos!

New! Urban Legends

OMG, this thing is HUGE. We're talking 82 total poses in 4 pose sets (2 female, 2 male). It's huge and the textures are amazing. The price is currently at 1500L for ONE week. So you should definitely grab it up now. As Mykala pointed out, that's 18L per pose. Lighting included into the scene and some great options for both individual and group images. Definitely a must have. Be sure to click on the images for larger photos!
